Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella
Summary: Let's be honest, we all have secrets and Emma Corrigan is no exception. But what sucks for Emma is that on a plane, she spills ALL of her secrets to a stranger. In addition to this, the stranger happens to be the owner of her company and her new boss.

Review: Even though it sounds cliche, it actually was a decent read. Although quite boring at parts, it made up for it in the irony. More of a chick read, it actually provided some laughs.

Rating: 7.8

Bottom Line: Good for relaxation and girly giggles but not the most well written book in the world.

The Clique: Best Friends For Never by Lisi Harrison
Summary: The girls from Octavian County Day are back and things are more scandalous than ever. Massie, the most popular girl and leader of the Pretty Committe decides to hold a boy-girl halloween party but ends up having to co-host the party with new girl Claire Lyons who she despises to death. Kristin and Dylan are fighting over the same guy and Alicia finds a new best friend. The Pretty Comitte is in serious jeapordy of splitting up.

Review: YAY FOR SHALLOW TEEN FICTION!!!!!!!!! Seriously, like EHMYGAWD this book was as boring and stupid as an episode of the O.C. I mean be honest, who wants to read about rich spoiled brats who get everything they want. This book strives for drama and tension but TOTALLY fails to get it.

Rating: 1.2

Bottom Line: Read it and watch your I.Q. drop by 25 points!

Carrie by Stephen King
Summary: Carrie White is the stereotypical High School Outcast to the tee. She has an overprotective, religious mother who doesn't allow her daughter any freedom, no friends and is extremely shy. What no one knows is that A) as they torment her, they are only adding to her rage and B) she has telekentic powers. Unfortunately, no one realizes this until it is too late...

Review: I might be a little biased towards this book because I share the name of the main character, my initials are the same, and the climax of the story happens on the day of my bat mitzvah (except in 1979 but who cares) but honestly, this is a really GOOD book. This was the book that got me into Stephen King and the horror genre. Even if it was a quick read I enjoyed it. It was descriptive enough to paint a clear picture but not overly elaborated as to confuse my 12 (almost 13) year old mind. Seriously, if you like great books, read this one.

Rating: 9.4

Bottom Line: If you have any sense, READ IT!!!!!!!!
